Perched high on the 23rd floor in the heart of urban Beirut, Fifty Shades of White by Wael Farran Studio offers unparalleled views of the sea and the lively city below. Inside, a narrative of tranquility unfolds, embracing calm, comfort, and relaxation.
This ethereal abode is home to a family of four, seeking to embody the wellness that defines their lives. With an entrance, living area, dining room, family room, three master bedrooms, a kitchen, and a guest bathroom, the ambiance is sculpted through minimalism, clean lines, and a soothing white palette.
On the private elevator, the marble floor and origami-patterned wallpaper by Trussardi, set a serene tone from the get-go. The entrance door opens into a corridor that leads you into the salons bathed in natural light. The living area, adorned with a main wall featuring elegant grey metal lines, leads seamlessly to the dining room and kitchen, softly illuminated by indirect lighting. The ceiling, an intricate dance of multileveled frames, complements a spacious bay window inviting the outdoors in. The Inner Serenity double sofa faces a sleek TV unit, offering an oasis of relaxation.
In the dining area, concealed tall units provide practicality, while triple fold veil curtains dance with the light. Satori, a custom- made dining table by Formitable with its matching chairs from Bonaldo sits under the warm embrace of a bespoke chandelier by Lodes.
The saloon, faithful to its minimal atmosphere of the house boast unique pieces by Formitable including, Standing Tall, Circles of Life and Nirvana Nexus tables, all in the calm soothing palette and clear clean lines of the home.
The corridor leads to private havens and a family room designed for shared moments. The family room, adorned with an inviting sofa is a cocoon for creating warm memories.
In the bedrooms, the similar minimalist atmosphere and clear lines continues the Zen story with a more intimate feel.
The master bedroom unveils a discreet dressing table, and a bed adorned with a petal-like headboard. White cupboards with concealed handles embody the essence of minimalism. Wood flooring adds warmth, completing the sensory tapestry.
In the first boy’s bedroom, a Japanese-style bed becomes a focal point against a white ridged panel. Integrated night tables and wooden shelving create an inviting study and display space bringing that relaxed feeling within.
The second boy’s bedroom embraces minimal industrial vibes, featuring decorative metal mesh sheets and quadrants that add a contemporary twist. The bed seamlessly extends into a built-in desk, while metal shelving continues the narrative of curated simplicity and comfort boasting a clean smooth atmosphere.
As the sun sets over the city, casting a gentle glow on the white palette that envelops every corner, the essence of this interior design project becomes undeniable. It’s not merely a home; it’s a living canvas where the play of light, the gentle lines, and the subtle interplay of materials create an atmosphere that transcends the ordinary.
