When simplicity blends with subtle luxury
Nothing soothes the soul after a hectic day at the rhythm of city life better than returning to a heaven of tranquility we call home.
“Dressed to the Nines” is more than just an apartment in Beirut; it is a chic contemporary residence that speaks of genuine elegance and refinement, creating a comfortable, stylish lifestyle for the whole family. Down to the tiniest detail, every single touch reflects the individuality of this house.
Made from clean cut French veneer, the main entrance door opens to an expansive space designed to mirror the overall interior mood that awaits you as soon as you step in.
The main lobby is kept clear with only wooden treatments on the surrounding walls while horizontal veneer panels create an intimate embrace, a subtle symbolism that sets the warmth welcoming tone of the distinctive house.
Follow the light emerging from the impressive architrave to the salons area, divided into four parts: three salons and a dining room.
A curved ceiling stretches in the middle, adorned with geometrical shapes and indirect lighting overshadows this space. The false ceiling of the closed balcony gives an alternating positive-negative look that adds a slight 3D effect to the huge space making it simply complex.
The splendor of this area is brought out by two major walls made of black lacquered wooden lines with a twisted modern inspiration. The artistic touch, the stylized lighting, and the groovy geometrical treatment created by the piling of silver and gold patina break the stillness of the walls and add life to the whole area.
The main wall of the salon is treated with three wooden panels that visually separate this area while the salons remain connected with each holding its own identity.
The modern design is further enhanced by luxurious brands of furniture such as Minotti Maxalto, B & B Italia and others. Lavish curtains by Sacho Hess Lein give a subtle overall theatrical look and feel on the salon.
At the center of the dining area stands “Lady in Black,” a dining table from ‘Creations by W|F’. Made of 3D legs and sides with a special wooden combination of ebanos veneer and black lacquer, the table is surrounded by a set of Febo armchairs from Maxalto that perfectly complement its grace, while the dining dessert unit is enhanced with 3D cabinet leaves and a combination of lacquered and ebony veneer.
The bedrooms’ design respects the genders and ages of the three children; the first bedroom is a typical teenager room. It holds his name in Graffiti on the wall right over his bed. The second room is for a two-year old toddler. It is designed to create a split between the sleeping zone and the playing area. As for the girl’s bedroom, it is fresh with trendy wallpaper and shades of violet and pink to create a modern vibe.
The master bedroom matches the overall clean and open space concept of the entire house. Its high-curved ceiling holds the whole room together; its light colors resulting from the perfect merge of silver leaf and lavender patina with walnut wood give the room an overall feeling of serenity.
Simply eclectic, “Dressed to the Nines” is a perfect example of chic serenity in the heart of the city.
